Surgical Sales Representative

We are recruiting a driven and dynamic Surgical Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a leading medical device company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales of surgical devices across hospitals and surgical centres in Leinster. This is a field-based role, requiring strong clinical knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell a range of surgical devices to surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams, and hospital management. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in public and private hospitals. 
• Provide product demonstrations and clinical support in operating theatres. ● Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. 
• Maintain a deep understanding of product portfolio and competitive landscape. ● Attend surgical cases to provide technical expertise and training where appropriate. 
• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, customer service, and clinical education. 
• Prepare territory plans, forecasts, and reports on market activity. 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry, regulatory, and company standards.

Requirements:

• Proven sales experience in medical devices, ideally within surgical or theatre-based settings. 
• Clinical or science-related background (e.g., nursing, biomedical science, life sciences) is advantageous. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and drive results. 
• Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Leinster region.
