Senior Financial Accountant – Irish PLC

Overview

Our client, a well known Irish PLC, is looking to add a Senior Financial Accountant to their Finance team in Kildare. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager and with the wider Finance Team on a range of issues.

The position will oversee a portfolio of entities within the group and plays a key role in supporting and participating in the monthly, half-year and annual consolidation and statutory reporting processes. It will ideally suit someone with Industry experience within a Multinational/PLC.

This role is an initial 12 month contract but will have opportunities to be made permanent. This is a great opportunity to join one of Ireland’s largest PLC’s during a period of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing month-end reporting for a portfolio of entities
• Preparing management accounts and supporting group reporting
• Revenue recognition for construction and forward-fund contracts
• Assisting with statutory accounts, audits, and annual reporting
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Driving process improvements and finance projects

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Previous management accounting experience
• Construction industry experience advantageous
• Experience with Dynamics NAV and Solver beneficial
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
