Our client, a fast-growing and innovative technology company in the energy and sustainability sector, is seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute FP&A Manager to join their Finance team in Limerick.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a strategic finance role within a global business that is undergoing a period of sustained growth.
The newly created role will work closely with the CFO and cross-functionally to provide financial insights, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making at the highest level.
Ideally, this would suit someone with a similar background in FP&A or someone coming from a Corporate Finance/M&A background who wants to join a rapidly scaling business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of KPIs, market and competitor trends to inform strategic planning.
- Build detailed scenario models and sensitivity analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports and board-level presentations for senior leadership, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and influence business decisions.
- Maintain and enhance financial models and planning tools for improved scalability and accuracy.
- Lead budgeting cycles, profitability forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business cases, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes, accuracy, and reporting quality. Support financial close and month-end reporting processes.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA), CFA or CIMA.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience in FP&A, financial modelling, and reporting.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. ● Highly numerate, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Proven ability to lead process improvements and enhance planning accuracy.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong financial modelling capabilities.
